Michal Jordán graduated from Brno University of Technology, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication as well as from Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Biomedical Engineering.
Already during his studies, he worked for Linet company, at first as an Electronic designer, later as an Innovation and Intellectual Property manager. He acquired international experience in the field of intellectual property protection, management of R&D projects as well as evaluation of innovative ideas from the point of view of their market potential. This experience is one of the reasons why he always makes sure that the protection of intellectual property is applied exactly where it is crucial for the owner.
He has also lectured in the field of intellectual property at various conferences and seminars since 2011. His experience in this area include training young companies expanding abroad in the CzechAccelerator project of CzechInvest agency.
In the present, he works as an expert at JIC (Southmoravian Innovation Centre), where he coaches technological firms from Southmoravian region.
Michal Jordán was chosen by an independent platform IAM Patent 1000 – The World’s Leading Patent Professionals 2017 among eight recommended patent attorneys in the Czech Republic.
As a patent attorney, he is entitled to represent clients and act in all matters and procedures relating to patents, utility models, industrial designs or trademarks before the Czech IPO, European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO).
